Look at those teeth! His 7th tooth (lower) just broke through the gums a couple days ago.

He sticks his tongue out like this when he's focusing on something.

All is going well here in Green Bay. It's getting COLD! It's 42 degrees outside but with the wind chill, it feels like a mere 34 degrees. YIKES!

Joel's getting bigger every day. He's crawling all over the place now. When asked for a kiss he turns and opens his mouth wide to receive one. (He does this not only with us but also with the dogs. Needless to say, Joel's gotten a few open mouthed kisses from the dogs.) I can ask him "Where are mommy's lips?" and he immediately points to my lips. He's working on the nose next. His favorite book right now is Mirror Me (Baby Einstein).

Trip to the Zoo!

We went to the zoo yesterday and although it was COLD, we had a good time.

We learned so much about the lions! The big lion is the daddy lion and these are his two cubs he's playing with. These two cubs will soon be leaving the zoo so that the adult lions will mate again and produce more cubs.

Go Pack Go

We went to Chicago for the weekend to meet up with our friends from CA, Pete & Wendy. We even got to go to a Cubs game and saw the Cubbies win!!! Below is Pete & Bobby enjoying a beer. I'm sure it's noon somewhere!

This was taken a couple of weeks ago. He's rediscovered this toy now that he can go up to his knees and play with it rather than lying on his back.

Apple Picking

We went apple picking on Saturday. It was so fun! We picked Cortlands and Molly Delicious. I'm planning on making some applesauce and apple butter this week. I even found a recipe for Pumpkin Apple Butter. I can't wait to make that! Here are some pictures from the fun filled day!

Snakes!

I walked out to put mail in the mailbox this morning and saw two snakes on our front porch!! I almost stepped on one of them....it scared the you know what out of me. I wish someone had had a video camera rolling, it would have been hilarious! I ran in and got my camera and got these two pictures.

Packers Training Camp that we visited. It's amazing how many people turn out for the event. The bleachers were packed as well as the fence.

Ahhhh, thanks Fifi for my A's jersey! Thankfully the colors here are green and gold and I can wear it proud!!!!

And finally, I just recorded this yesterday. A few funny things....First, Joel crawled backwards under the dog bed. Second, when he's reaching for Tia and I tell him to stop, he's going for her shock collar and the "test" button (it's not the first time he's "tested" the collar to see if it works. And last, I think he's learning how to hold his toys from the dogs. Uh oh!
